Rolly Goes Home

Rolly Goes Home

Everyone at The Horse Place was a little sad to say goodbye to Rolly when Suzanne took him home last week. He was a big presence in the yard, in every respect.

As with all young horses that David starts, owner Suzanne was invited to spend a few days at The Horse Place, to re-establish her relationship with the newly started Rolly. Suzanne rode Rolly in the school and out on trail rides every day with David’s guidance.

Although sad to see him go, we are happy that Rolly has had the best possible start any young horse could have and as we hope Rolly’s future will be in the competition world, we look forward to him flying the flag for natural horsemanship in that sphere.

Suzanne will continue to have the support of her local Parelli Instructor 3* Stephanie Gaunt and David will always be just a phone call or email away, should she need any further advice.

We have uploaded three videos to our video section of the website. Rolly carrying the saddle for the first time, his first ride and a final video taken a couple of days before he went home.

Thanks to Suzanne for allowing us to share Rolly’s journey with you all and we wish her and Rolly the very best for the future.

"There is something about this place where you can be immersed and surrounded by great horsemanship. Live it, breath it, watch it, feel it, getting away from usual distractions, and laughs, did I mention the laughing? I for one will be back many times."
